The Old Tonbridgians Forces Association was set up in April 2008 to enable serving and ex-serving OTs to keep in touch with each other and with the school. It also acts as a network whereby boys interested in the services can contact those already there for advice and visits. There is a document setting out the aims of the OTFA.
Membership is open to all OTs who are currently serving (including University units), to those who have retired from the services, and to current Tonbridge CCF officers. The OTFA President is ex officio the Contingent Commander. Should you wish to become a member please contact either the President or the Honorary Secretary - contact details are listed below.
Because of the inevitably dispersed nature of the membership, events such as meetings and dinners will inevitably be limited. Invitations will certainly go out for the CCF Annual Inspection, and for the school's Remembrance Day service, and it is intended that there will be one dinner a year - either at a school, a service establishment or a service club. Communication will largely be through this website, and members are invited to complete their personal details and maintain a blog - see the membership pages once you have logged in. In the New Year there will be the facility to upload pictures. Please also submit items for the news page, either about yourself, your unit or other members.
Not all members have an online presence so we will also ensure that they receive news via mail.
